Glimpses OF our previous
custom Adventure

Escapaholics like to escape and be challenged. But combine this with corporate development and team leadership, we are ideally placed to help you grow your business through real challenges and effective team building in adventurous and fun environments.

With unique team and corporate adventures in the moors, mountains and jungle, filled with exciting challenges that promote teamwork and problem-solving – all designed to encourage collaboration, communication, and trust. Our adventurers navigate through thrilling and tough environments, complete group tasks, and ‘out of the box’ trials and challenges, creating lasting memories while strengthening bonds. Perfect for fostering teamwork in a fun, adventurous environment! We use our experiences of adventure to share the fun whilst helping individuals, teams and organisations achieve their full potential. Our unique mix of theory and experiential learning brings out the very best in teams and individuals.

Escapaholics, through Simple Coaching Solutions, starts with class room based team leadership development to weekend moorland and adventure activities, building to our corporate and leadership training in far off environments – the high Himalayas of the Tibetan plateau to the jungles of Borneo, or destinations of your choice.

I’ve registered an interest in the event. What happens now?

With corporate escapaholics adventures, you can either bring your team on one of our standard adventures, book the whole event for your company or ask us to devise an Escapaholic adventure just for you. This can be to one of our usual destinations or we can dream up some other crazy itinerary. Our corporate trips include bespoke motivational and team leadership training, courses and insights to create a company development package.

Of course. Escapaholics all tend to be like minded adventurers, looking for something different. You will make new friends and help / be helped in various challenges. We take small groups where everyone gets to know each other, but still with your own downtime, when needed.

The youngest Escapaholic adventurer we have taken was 16 and the oldest, mid sixties.

This depends on where we go. For India – generally hepatitis A, tetanus and typhoid. You can consider rabies – but we try and keep the monkeys away. For Borneo, you may also consider hepatitis B. All our current destinations are considered low risk for malaria.

For individual Escapaholics, we normally leave adventurers to book their own flights, but will recommend options and flight times. As a rule, the earlier you book flights, the cheaper it is. For our corporate escapaholics, we can include a flight package.

What you need, depends on your Escapaholic destination. You will need casual clothes for when we are ‘round about town’ and obviously your best and most tasteless

Hawaiian shirt. You will need warm weather gear for the mountains, appropriate tech tops and waterproofs for the jungle etc. Advice on a full kit list will be given on registration.

Visas are required for India and Vietnam and for Borneo (Malaysia) visas are given on arrival. Further details and advice will be provided.

Vietnam and Borneo – generally hot and steamy. For India, temperatures in Delhi might be upto 40C and down to -10C in the mountains, or may be down to -25C in Ladakh at night.

Our usual Himalayan trip will take you to around 4,400m (14,400ft), whilst Ladakh is as high as 5,400m (17,500ft.) At these elevations there is a risk of AMS, (Acute Mountain Sickness) so we always acclimatise and set our trekking pace appropriately.

Yes – you will need travel insurance with an addition to cover trekking at high altitude in India.

Relatively fit and healthy. We will be trekking in a tough environment, whether the heat sapping jungles of Borneo of the steep mountains of the Himalaya. But we wont be running – so just a good all round fitness.

Hotels range from ‘Top End’ such as the Pulman Hotel in Kuching and the Maidens Hotel in Delhi, to bivy bags, bashas and tents on the mountain and in the jungle.

We max out at 12 people for an adventure, plus your Escapaholic Team and guides.
